Techno-alphabet

Photo taken by my friend Lisa Woo, who teaches phys ed in Thailand. She was at a conference in Hyderabad last weekend and snapped this:

I would change a few:

B: blog
H: hyperlink
F: flipped class
O: online
V: vimeo, or voki
W: wimba

But this poster works too!

  3. Hello Kati! I am so sorry to take so long to respond to you. I'm afraid I don't have the original photo. It was taken at a teacher's conference in Thailand by a teacher friend of mine. She took the photo of this poster and posted that on her facebook page. Sorry I was unable to help your youth group, good luck to you all!

  4. I come here really late but it was today when I started looking for the origins of that image - and Google brought me also here. :-) So Google is the way to find more copies and reproductions of the same idea.

BTW, it looks like it would have been made in India as there is Orkut, Zorpia and Quick Heal - they are not that well known here (up north in Finland...).

At the moment in Finland at least K would be for Kik and W for Whatsapp, both mobile chat applications.

And: If I were a teacher, I'd certainly correct the spelling of Picasa. :-)

  5. Thanks, Antti, that's really interesting that you can figure out the area by the software. The poster's also at least 2 yrs old, so I bet some of these have fallen out of use by now. And wow, how did I miss that most unfortunate spelling of Picasa?!?
